1:46 am	Big Post o' Threads Stealing an idea from various players, but most specifically Glinda! That is, I've seen people doing things to keep track of all threads. Considering that four of my six characters have been here for over a year, these lists are obviously not going to be complete, but I can at least make an effort to keep track of threads from now on. 5:18 pm	Christmas presents '08 From... Russel: Chisame: Some more clothes to dress up in. Ari: A big cake. Peppo: An air plant. Nokoru: FLOWERS AND CHOCOLATE FOR ALL WOMEN. Tatsu-nii: An expensive business suit tailored to Tatsu-nii's size. Izumi: All campers get ONE sugar cookie shaped like a christmas tree and with green icing. Everyone on the mess hall staff gets a care package inna basket. Ed and Al each get a bunch of stationary and a box of pens. YOU MAY GET THE IMPRESSION THAT SHE WANTS YOU TO ACTUALLY WRITE HER LETTERS WHEN THEY'RE ALL BACK IN AMESTRIS. Imoen: Glinda: A rainbow gem; this gem shimmers with the colors of the rainbow and is generally very beautiful. Imoen will take great care to point out that it is work 10,000 gold pieces in Faerûn, but will for some reason avoid explaining where she got it... Thor: A "potion of cat's grace" that she will explain will make him more agile for a while. It is actually just filled with that stuff that stains your mouth black for a while. Hellboy: A can of coffee! Inside is actually one of those toy snakes that spring out when the can is opened. Wiccan: I don't remember if there's anyone he should be giving a present to by now. Marvin: MARVIN HATES YOU ALL. Jaina: Aerrow: a set of elbow pads to go with the crash helmet she gave him last year. Morrolan: A small holocube; Jaina has recorded herself reciting a few of the jedi ballads and legends she's learned from Tionne at the Jedi Academy. Agrias: All the royals she's met get a well-penned letter respectfully offering her well-wishes. Molly: Ronan: She'll. Dress up and take him out to the mess hall, where she has (unfortunately for him) cooked a meal. At least the coffee tastes like heaven? Other hobowizards: Get a puzzle and a christmas card. Kastor: Gets a My Little Pony. The Archive: Stuffed animals! Let's say a teddy bear and a stuffed Tweety Bird. Kyle Katarn: If you're old enough and he likes you, he'll sit down and have a beer with you. Para-medic: Snake gets a large bag of trail mix (lots of dried fruit and nuts), and some bug juice. 11:19 am	Icons After talking about redoing my icons for a while, I finally have something to show for it. Because visual creativity is not my strong suit I'm not going to pretend that these are masterpieces (I failed at a consistent background so badly), BUT I think they're pretty. Many thanks to Watanuki-mun for the icon guide and her showing me in person how she does it. Also, I've generally not cared about whether or not anyone steals my icons, but THESE TOOK ME A MONTH, so if you'd like to nab any icons, please please credit them. For the most part, threads should actually remain intact, because when I went to crop new expressions, I found that for the most part I was happy with the icons I had--I ended up just wanting to improve what I already had. So I did! I did replace some of the old ones, and I still need to decide what to do with that "mother bear" icon. But essentially, job done. (6 Comments |Comment on this)

2:20 am	Chapter 83 So twenty years ago, Izumi spent a month in the Briggs mountains, randomly mugging soldiers out on patrol. It was quite a stir and people still talk about that mysterious woman from twenty years ago. ( And now twenty years later... ) IZUMI IS STILL THE TERROR OF THE NORTH this is so beautiful. 10:38 pm	Kabuto and FMA cast ping! (Izumi's body is like a party and everybody's rearranging the furniture!) ( Cut image shows off Izumi's awesome new fashion and as a bonus leads me right into a great fjkld;asjgl; character development reaction post. XD Spoilers abound! ) Ending the cut here because I want to get some pings out to people for talking purposes. >_> What does this mean? -W-well I'm pretty sure the FMA cast is still updating with the manga! Everyone knows I suck at communicating with castmates though, which is part of why I'm typing this in the hopes of hearing thoughts on recent developments like this from them. XD -This development most obviously means that people who know Izumi will notice that she's going to be having a much easier time breathing. -...She actually might not seem as sickly in general. I'm kind of assuming that she's still going to have her moments of coughing up blood, but it's certainly not going to be as common. Probably a little better stamina! -I kind of feel that if I update Izumi with this development, I should have an IC reaction, and obviously this probably also requires coordination with my FMA buddies (perhaps Izumi can finally traumatize Roy some more |D) because of Hoenheim's involvement in the whole thing. -There is at least one person in camp who keeps tabs on Izumi's specific body condition! This is where the Kabuto ping comes in: when Tsunade left camp, Izumi turned to Kabuto for genius medical ninjaing, and presumably this means that he deserves a heads-up that her body is going to be LOTS DIFFERENT in the next check-up. XD -Also, everyone is allowed to tease me for thinking all those months back that Izumi's role in the storyline was over. Or kick me, whatever. (Comment on this)

2:52 am	So COINCIDENTALLY I'm going home this weekend. I say coincidentally on account of it turns out it's Easter Weekend! I was going home to dog-sit, so wasn't going to have internet access at all, but plans have changed, and I won't be dog-sitting. I chose to go home to visit my family anyway, and in a true FMA MOM effort, I'm going to try focusing on my family and such. As a result, I'm not going to be active from friday until sunday. I plan on trying to hijack the internet long enough for the first session of the Exalted campaign, but that's when there won't be anything else to do anyway, so! And what with needing to actually pay attention to that, I won't be able to thread or anything then. So yeah. Gone the next few days, but as usual, not major enough to clutter the comm with it. 3:11 pm	Drabble meme! I'm being dragged away to spend the evening at an annual dinner for the Michigan "Shore to Shore" trail group--in other words, a group of horse nuts who get together and ride their horses from the shore of Lake Michigan to the shore of Lake Huron. I forget the actual number, but it's somewhere over two hundred miles in two weeks. The thing is, I've never been one for social events, so I plan on doing what I've always done--take a notebook and pencil and just write the whole time. What I don't get to before leaving, I'm going to jot down and work on requests at the dinner. As always, I'll do my best to fill a request, but sometimes I just don't know enough to do anything, so just make another request if I can't come up with anything. 3:23 pm	I don't do this kind of thing often, because it always makes me feel guilty and I know that there's a lot of people who disapprove--or at least used to, I'm not sure if it's still around these days...but that's why I've decided to do this in a post on my journal, rather than one of the communities. Basically...it turns out that I've forgotten to take care of renewing Izumi's account. Normally, I handle this kind of thing myself because I never feel right asking other people, but I have no method of paying things over the internet, so...since the paid time is kind of already expired...I'm going to whore myself out for some paid time and extra icons. All I need is two months, and while I can't draw anything, make a request and I'll write something for you. Nevermind. If I could carry babies, they would be Aviy's, but...
